The initiative to establish a children's community arose from the desire to create a space where children can meet, play, and pray together outside of church services. During Sunday masses, we naturally strive for tranquility, and catechism classes do not provide enough time to develop deeper friendships. We have therefore decided to offer a place where children can gather in a safe environment to talk about God and support each other in their faith.
Our goal is not to replace religious education, but to build upon the excellent work of our catechists. We want to focus on older children after their first communion (up to 12 years old), so that what was sparked during their preparation for the sacrament can continue to grow. We will read and discuss the Bible together, learn to understand the needs of others, and pray for them. Of course, there will also be time for games, walks, and conversations with friends.
We therefore warmly invite you, parents, grandparents, and friends: give us the opportunity to dedicate one hour a week to your children, during which we will strive to create a community that brings them closer to God and to each other. Register your children and help us start this new adventure together!
